About the Club

A close-knit group of safety-conscious pilots sharing one exceptionally well-kept airplane at Arlington Municipal Airport.

Who We Are

The Arlington Flyers Club is an equity flying club built around 172HR, our pampered Cessna 172N. Membership is a 1/10 ownership share — so members are true owners, not renters.

We're a great group of safety-conscious, experienced pilots who keep our airplane in top condition and make it easy to fly through online scheduling, billing, and logging on AircraftClubs.com. By sharing the costs of ownership, every member enjoys a modern, capable IFR airplane for far less than going it alone.

172HR — Our 172N

Our 1977 Cessna 172N Skyhawk II registered N172HR has been carefully maintained and significantly upgraded — including a $40,000 modern IFR avionics panel installed in 2023 and a Garmin comms update in 2025.

From the Powerflow exhaust and STOL cuff to the app-controlled engine pre-heater, she's set up to be safe, capable, and ready to go year-round.

Real Ownership, Not a Rental

Each 1/10 membership is a true ownership interest in 172HR and in all of the club's assets — members are owners, not renters.

Monthly dues and hourly rates steadily build a healthy maintenance fund and a dedicated engine fund, so the airplane stays in top condition and major expenses are planned for well ahead of time — never a surprise.

Full transparency: 172HR has a documented damage history, with a successful repair to the wing and an engine rebuild. We believe in being upfront — our maintenance records are open to prospective members.
